The Association of Registered Engineering Services for Disaster Relief, Malaysia or known as RedR Malaysia, is a not-for-profit Non-Government Organisation registered with the Registrar of Societies Malaysia in 2008. RedR Malaysia is part of RedR International Organisation comprising a network of other members namely RedR Australia, RedR India, RedR Lanka, RedR New Zealand and RedR UK.
Its main objectives are to train and deploy engineers and technicians to provide engineering and technical support for humanitarian services for disaster relief works. Qualified and trained members will be registered as available and ready to be deployed and attached to local and international organisations involved in humanitarian works for disaster relief.
RedR Malaysia and through the RedR International network, also extends its training programs to Government Agencies, International Organisations, NGOs, private organisations and individuals that are also involved in humanitarian works for disaster relief as well as those that deploy staffs to regions with high risks of natural disasters or in insecure environments.
The RedR training programs are recognised by major international organisations involved in humanitarian works world-wide.
The present President of RedR
Malaysia is Dato’ Ir. Ahmad Husaini Bin Sulaiman. The Deputy
Presidents are Dato' Ir. Abdul Razak Bin Dahalan and Kapten
Ir. Anuar Bin Hj. Yahya.
